BUILT FROM TIME ON THE WATER
I've been fishing since I was a kid and have spent more than 20 years fishing offshore across Australia and New Zealand.
Over time, deep jigging became a major part of the way I fish. From relatively shallow offshore ground to fishing jigs hundreds of metres below the boat, I've spent countless hours experimenting with tackle, rigging, jig weights, braid, boat positioning and technique.
Like most anglers, I've also bought plenty of expensive gear that didn't necessarily make me a better fisherman.
That experience helped shape SeriolaPro.
I wanted tackle that was effective, reliable and good value — gear I'd genuinely be happy to fish myself.
Deep jigging opens up an extraordinary part of offshore fishing.
