The Fat B@stard is a stumpy little jig designed to get down to the depths quickly. I purposefully wanted a jig that had a smaller profile to entice fish that might be shy or wary of a bigger bait. Despite its small length, due to its compact size and 400g weight, this jig can still be used out to 250m + in the right conditions.

It falls straight and fast and has a very easy action. This jig is great for fishing the 60m to 200m line where it has proved to be very effective on Snapper, Pearl Perch, Nannygai and Kingfish. Barcod have also found it hard to resist.

If you are nervous about using a heavier jig, the Fat B@stard is the perfect jig for you. It has the weight to get down, but its small compact shape makes it easy to use and allows the angler to target a very broad range of fish species.

Such an awesome, versatile jig. Great for when the current picks up in shallow and is just at home off the shelf. If they're not hitting the big jigs, this one will get the job done.
